MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
IT’S A HOME RUN!!!!!
I am proud to welcome you to the “new” York Simcoe Baseball Association (YSBA) web site. While it has taken much longer than we would have liked, we are proud to launch the new site with some exciting features which are extremely interactive and user-friendly.
The site is our means of communicating with the various stakeholders within YSBA and the greater baseball community. The site allows us to be in constant contact with our membership. I encourage everyone to visit our website on a daily basis as you will be able to obtain up-to-date news, standings, scores and information.
While the site is up and running we are far from finished. Over the next few days, weeks and months we will continue to improve and upgrade the aesthetics and functionality of the site to serve users and visitors better. Such a process requires not only our thoughts but your input as well. We invite your input as to how we can improve the site to serve you better.
The 2007 season is one which the YSBA enters with much excitement. The interlock with our friends and partners in the Toronto Baseball Association (TBA) is one which I am sure all involved will find very exciting. From new teams to play and new parks to visit, the 2007 season is one which players, coaches and parents are sure to look back upon with much satisfaction.
I would like to welcome all players, coaches and parents to the 2007 season and am delighted to see that so many of our member clubs continued to grow their registration base for the 2007 season in spite of increasing competition.
As the sport of baseball grows, the task of organization grows in tandem. The challenge of operating smoothly becomes more difficult and time consuming for those involved. I am inviting everyone to volunteer some of your time and get involved for the betterment of the league. This will ensure that our kids have an enjoyable and fun filled experience. Let me remind you that we are all volunteers!
I would like to personally thank all my fellow executive members and coaches for their commitment and dedication in volunteering their time to ensure that the success of our league is at the forefront.
See you all on the ball diamonds and have an enjoyable and fun filled season.
